what does “bandboxed” mean?

We wanted to come up with a word that was synonymous with being polished or refined. A bandbox is a contraption that is used to keep hats in to maintain their structure. In the 1920’s there was a compliment that if you appeared very polished and put together- it looked like you stepped out of a bandbox. So we took the word and turned it into a verb. Use our lacquers and you’ll be bandboxed.

is your polish non-toxic?

Yes. Our products are free from formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), xylene, camphor, triphenyl phosphate (TPHP), parabens, fragrances, animal products and phthalates.

Where are your products made?

Our products are proudly made here in the united states. We are a company based in southwest Florida.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Absolutely! We are animal lovers. Our lacquers and treatments do not contain any animal products, and are never tested on animals.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are processed in 1-2 business days. It will take 3-10 business days shipping.

How are your lacquers packaged and shipped?

We are a very eco-friendly company. Elegant boxes are fun to look at for a couple of minutes, meanwhile that discarded package will sit in a landfill for countless years to come. All of our lacquers and treatments are wrapped in honeycomb paper and put into bubble mailers for safe arrival to their destination.
